Eliza Seville's Racing Story and Mission
After gaining her qualifications at The National College for Motorsport, Eliza left home and started
her career as a motorsport mechanic with Aston Martin racing privateer, TF Sport. Travelling the
world, running an Aston Martin GTE Vantage in European Le Mans series at 18 years old. From
there she became self employed and contracted for various race teams, gaining experience in
historic F1, Le Mans prototypes, GT, Ferrari Challenge and single seaters.
In 2021 Eliza entered the Formula Woman scholarship.
Over 800 international entrants were scored on their ability in karting, fitness, track, media and
written exam over two rounds.
Eliza scored high enough to be one of the top 15 chosen to proceed to the next round. The top 15
had only one chance to set a lap time in a Jaguar GT4 at Croft and Eliza put it on pole in wet
conditions.
In 2023 she competed her first races in the Mazda Supercup championship, before building her MG F to compete in for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, securing the MG F Challenge trophy in 2025. 2026 Will bring a new challenge in the BMW 116 Trophy endurance series as she moves up the ladder in motorsport and continues to develop as a driver.
This put her straight through to the final round where 10 drivers were sent to Sweden to set a lap
time on an ice stage. Sadly Eliza did not get chosen as one of the winners but felt ready to take the
victory next year!
Eliza had a fast-track pass through to the final 50 entrants this year and undertook tests in driving,
karting, fitness, media and sponsorship awareness.
Again, she got selected as one of the final 10 women to go through to the final shootout. The final
consisted of a superpole qualifying format at Bedford Autodrome, where only one lap was allowed to
set a time. With the pressure on, Eliza set a lap fast enough to make her one of the two 2022 Formula
Woman winners!
